Our brand represents privacy, resilience, trust and decentralized access to physical-world coordination systems. The Nearby brand is protected intellectual property and may only be used according to these guidelines. *** ### Brand Kit The Nearby Brand Kit may include: * Nearby logo * Nearby wordmark * Icon variations * Light and dark versions * Social media assets * Presentation and media assets Use only official files from the Nearby Brand Kit. Do not recreate, modify or extract Nearby assets from screenshots, websites, social posts or unofficial sources. *** ### Protected Brand Assets The following assets are part of the Nearby brand: * The Nearby name * The Nearby logo * The Nearby wordmark * The Nearby icon * The $NEARBY name * Official Nearby visual assets * Nearby product names, including Proof of Location, Nearby Mesh and OfflinePay These assets are not open-source and may not be used in a way that creates confusion about ownership, affiliation or endorsement. *** ### Approved Usage You may use Nearby brand assets for the following purposes: #### Product References You may mention Nearby when accurately describing the protocol or its products. Examples: * “Built with Nearby Protocol” * “Powered by Nearby Mesh” * “Using Nearby Proof of Location” * “Offline payments enabled by OfflinePay” #### Linking to Nearby You may use the Nearby name or logo when linking to official Nearby websites, documentation, social channels or ecosystem pages. #### Editorial or Educational Content You may use Nearby assets in articles, videos, research, newsletters or educational content that accurately discusses Nearby. #### Partnership Announcements You may use Nearby brand assets for partnership announcements only if the partnership is official and approved by the Nearby team. *** ### Prohibited Usage To protect the Nearby brand and prevent user confusion, the following actions are not allowed. #### Do not imply official affiliation Do not use Nearby assets in a way that suggests sponsorship, partnership, endorsement or official status without approval. #### Do not use Nearby in your own product name Do not create products, communities, tokens, websites or applications using the Nearby name or logo. Examples of prohibited usage: * “Nearby Wallet” * “Nearby Markets” * “Official Nearby Community” * “Nearby Finance” * “Nearby Global” * “Nearby Rewards App” #### Do not modify brand assets Do not change, stretch, crop, rotate, recolor, outline, animate or add effects to the Nearby logo or wordmark. #### Do not create commercial goods Do not create or sell merchandise, NFTs, collectibles, apparel, stickers, templates or other commercial products using Nearby brand assets without approval. #### Do not create confusing communities Do not create social accounts, groups or pages that users may confuse with official Nearby channels. Community-led pages must clearly state that they are independent and unofficial. *** ### Logo Usage When using the Nearby logo: * Use only official logo files * Keep the original proportions * Maintain clear spacing around the logo * Use the correct version for light or dark backgrounds * Do not place the logo on noisy or low-contrast backgrounds * Do not combine the logo with another mark or symbol The Nearby logo should always remain clear, readable and recognizable. *** ### Approval For any use case not clearly covered by these guidelines, please contact the Nearby team before publishing. Approval is required for: * Partnership announcements * Co-branded materials * Commercial usage * Merchandise * Paid campaigns * Exchange or listing materials * Community initiatives using Nearby branding *** ### Summary You may use Nearby brand assets to reference the protocol, link to official resources, explain integrations or create accurate educational content.
